We may have 34 candidates, but with projected earnings of each, we would need 12-15 (yep, thats right) to succeed simply to maintain a headcount of around 55000. What are the chances?

Pfizer, too big to fail? ask PanAm, SwissAir, Woolworths, Polaroid, White Star Lines etc, etc.

10 years max.

Amazing Pfizer

It amazes me that Pfizer employees are the majority of the posts to this board when one knows that there are major layoffs at all of the pharma companies. What makes Pfizer people so ready to downgrade their company???

mother of all rumors ; AZ, Beckman, Pfizer, GSK, MSD etc.

1. Distance to the edge of the known universe ~100,000 million million million km

Another Pfizer Phase III program goes bust

How many more of these late stage clinical trials that have been promoted as helping Pfizer to avert the Liptor cliff will Pfail? Per Freddy Mercury..."and another ones gone, and another ones gone, another one bites the dust."

1000 Year Pfizer

Now that our great company has conquered Warnerland,Farmacia and is in the process of destroying Wyethan resistance, it is time to turn our attention to the true enemies within, the employees. The employee liquidation program must be done efficiently and silently. We do not want to induce panic among them. This shall be done in small waves.

Pfizer Cambridge Inflammation

The management is all legacy Wyeth. No STL folks let alone Pfizer. Guess that sends a message to anyone outside Wyeth.

Very few postings for biology being posted. Was supposed to be before the holiday, then right after it and still very few.

Selected individuals had pre interviews and many are not going.

This does not sound like a place to work.

Any thoughts.

GSK - Sirtris acquisition ...OOPS

papers by Amgen scientists and seperately Pfizer are coming out that are questioning whether any real due dilligence was done scientifically ( flourescent peptide and substrate interference). These papers are implying that GSK may have wasted a over 700 million on acquiring the company.
