Hey dude. This is simply not true. Their are two people in my Qa dept that have a lot of experience. One lady has over thirty years in QA and one guy has over twenty years! I love my Qa engineer job and we love you Brel Blue here in Qa Rockville!

I wish it had been the dead weight who went but everytime i go to pm they haven't done what they are meant to have so we have to do their jobs for them and as for Qa it is like walking into hell, they are clueless and unhelpful.

only the yes people drones and newbies are left, i fail to see any innovation and forward thinking there. the damage done to the reputation of a once good company cannot be repaired its notorious within the biotech industry. its only a matter of when not if it will go under. that is why the competition is growing and growing not slowing like brel.

Thankfully in '09, most of our dead weight support staff (QA, PM) that were pulling us down were either sacked or conveniently layed off. Kudos to Brel management.

8-6? Slave drivers, eh? It's not like they're being made to work 12 hours, seven days a week. They're working 4 days then doing one day in college, could be FAR worse. Man alive.

Did anyone hear of the new staff they have hired in VC Stirling on modern apprenticeships? paying them penuts (sorry the government is paying their wages for 2 years) and making them work 8-6 mon-thus then friday college. Animals. Ah well at leat you are getting your 2.5% paycut back and im sure there will be those promised payrises on the horizon......

I celebrated my twenty years anniversary just last year! I agree that this place is the pits but not sure I can find work with comparable salary in biotech at my level so I hang on for my dear life. Too many in my family depend on my income so I hope I can string brel along for another twenty years and not ever get layed off. Wish me luck.

why are any of you still working in brel?? i got out recently as did several other people i worked with and all are so much happier, everywhere is better than that pit. that place is a shambles and only the idiots ae left running it, titanic anyone????

Kinda curious what really happened to Brel's QA director AK. What company will he screw up totally next? Wherever he washes up, he will ruin their operation and make his staff's life a living breathing HELL.

This AK thing is not nonsense. He got sacked for cornholio doggling with certain male "staff" members.

I am in a tizy! I have worked over here at blue for many years and want to desperately get out for a new better company. Problem is I am in a cushy comfort sone and barely do any real work and instead eshop. Is their any hope for me to find a like position in biotech? I need to get motivated before Vista liquidates us real soon!

I worked there forever before they asked me to go earlier this year and now I miss their shortcuts, those "phantom' micro assays and especially lack of any kind of secondary (or primary for that matter)oversight. Whole lot of nothing going on there in Rockville! From what I have seen over the years,FDA just scratched the surface with that letter of warning - oh my!

I can only speak for myself but i feel like i am dying working for this company. Changes at a drop of a hat, a revolving door like you wouldn't believe and now worst of all they prevent people from being promoted for thier own benefit. You can only laugh at the negativity you hear from management.

Really enjoyed the FDA warning letter! Not feeding the animals or changing the bedding for 12 days leading to "hunched" animals. Fantastic service BioReliance! Lord knows why any company goes within 5 miles of you!

I think some individuals working at Brel ( and you know who you are) should do the rest of us a favour and leave rather than stay and constantly talk the company down. Some of us are sick of hearing it!
You want better conditions, better pay, better training, better standards etc etc? then ask yourself what am I bringing to the table to help make it happen?

'MAGENTA' (UK) actually made more profit than Q1 manufacturing with a third of the staff and 3/5 ths of the labs. This is just one of the many facts that the previous clueless poster got wrong.

AIMS went out the window ooooh...5 years ago. BREL bought Q one six years ago. GET OVER IT.
