Come on. This is a public company. There may be an offer on the board's table. The board may have voted to recommend to the stockholders to accept the offer but not yet announced their decision. But there is no way an offer has been accepted.

Themofisher deal is dead. Company has been sold to one of the private equity firms. News is official coming from Leader, Business Operations to some of us. She couldn't share which one but think it may be blackstone. Head EHS and SustInability sharing same information with her reports. On the sunny side less layoffs if we don't go TMO. Bad side we keep much of same leadership and slowly pieces broken off.

Anyone have an idea of what a TMO take over of LT with NGS going to Roche would look like? Which company sectors would loose the most people from duplication. This has me concerned at the moment.

So think of all the individual units that were bought so that they could add synergy and integrate into other business platforms, but never did (becuase the managment could not integrate cream into coffee) well all of those units will be sold off to multiple other companies that have similar technology. Does your spouse have health care coverage? If so LT won't pony up even the pittance they willing to spot you on your $5,000 deductable. If you haven't figured it out that means the substantial majority of LT employees will never get a dime in healthcare benefits from LT in return for the thousands a year they pay out of their own pockets in premiums.

Except for Lucifer of course. He and the corporate officers have special executive insurance that covers everything, probably at a cost of tens of thousands of dollars per year. And that is just for the routine maintenance, elective and cosmetic stuff. If they have a real health issue, the sky is the limit - no deducatable, no copay.

Yes they will reissue stock if that happens. The stock will usually rise to just under the buy out price on the day of the announcement. It will hovers there until the actual exchange takes place, if you want to wait around for that.
