Why the animosity here? And to those that have posted constructive comments, my sincere appreciation. To reiterate, a recruiter called me about an open field position within the LSG. I have now been in various field-based positions for more than 15 years. For that reason, I first do some background research...and came across this thread. it is now quite obvious that one individual has WAY too much time on their hands....

Having worked there for many years don't do it. LSG is full of people who are too fearful or lazy to work for a better company. There are some good, talented people, but not enough to turn the course of a doomed entity.

The people you mention are so embedded in the company that a big house cleaning will cannot be done. I would agree that PC and BC need to be replaced with people from the outside. LC is a joke what does that guy do to earn his salary? Sign forms? Ramble incoherently at meetings? He seems to have plenty of time to walk around and socialize while the people who report to him actually work.

LC (in HR) a total tool that enables bad managers
RP leading LSD R&D into irrelevance
TS (in LSD) what exactly does he do?
Business development people (TM, GV) haven't accomplished anything, ever
all division managers
anyone hand-picked by BC (the VP) for key positions
NS should make everyone in LSG with pay grade higher than 11 justify their jobs and re-interview in order to keep them

Not going well for Q4. LSG in US started a free-shipping promotion in December to pull in as many dollars as possible. If it works they can look forward to another hole to dig out of Q1 of 2010.

For his latest employer, the reference for him is: BioRad's version of Tiger wood. (he is as good as Tiger on entertaining side, but as imcompetent as other BioRad managers on business side)
