wow - get rid of Diamed means reducing loss during a worse buy and integration process...but would it be better for the remaining people at Diamed to switch from Biorad to Ortho....not sure....at the end of the day .....Diamed is dead anyway

Some worker bees and managers at CDG are great people.
Unfortunately, they're often overrun by toxic managers.

I can't speak for LSG, but CSD isn't perfect.

They were once a leader in life science research but now are probably not even in the top twenty research companies.

I think Biorad should continue with the current strategy and attitude towards customers.

Then again I work for the competition and everything they do forces more and more customers our way.

Don't be too down on the LSG, CDG are just as bad but at least they have the products to produce sales to cover it up.

Why is the culture at LSG so bad? Who is responsible for this debacle?

Just don't buy anything from them, work for them or speak to them and you'll be fine.

They have a terrible customer services record. I should know I used to be a senior manager with them. Everything is about price and profit and sales. No interest in support or customer relations. Once you've bought what they are selling they will have no interest in you at all.

If all you want to do is collect a paycheck, then it is the ideal place for you to work. Don't expect much more. Prob a good job straight out of uni. If you are a follower and not leader, then go for it, you'll prob fit right in. Wishing you luck if you are in the MW or EC regions.

Look at the job postings for assays. Who exactly is running the place since there is no one in charge of manufacturing or R&D for immunoassays in LSG right now? I'd hate to be ordering bioplex assays right now. Who knows what quality you'll get.

No! SELDI is doing well. Its management still get bonus this year, and has application centers on east coast as well as Europe.

It's a great investment.

Nobody dare to declare that the $30 million investment end in nothing. And it's fine for this $30 million loss to grow into $40 million, then $50 million. This is part of Bio-Rad culture.
