Please read this thread, or measure the personel replacement rate. Or ask the co-founders of AMX. Believe me or not, this company is soon history. High margins (>80%) are only possible when there is no competition, can AMX survive with less????

I agree. It was a good company and did good things. If not, why would another compay be interested in a buy-out?
Running a company or an HR Dept can be challenging, sometimes you have to break a few eggs to make an omelot. Having had first hand experience with this company I saw no indications that would prove your allegations ...

Indeed a interest in wine doesn't make someone an alcoholic as long you don't drink large quantities. But look at the history of this nice company and a second argument appears. A suspecious HR manager and CEO ruining careers were present. Such behaviour can be explained by alcoholism.

2) Good for him for exploiting a niche. Obviously, these laboratories that can dilute patient samples did not do so leading to a "need" that was met by acrometrix. Bravo MJE!!!!!!

AMX is not much more than a manufacturer of controls any laboratory can build themselves by using some (diluted) clinical samples. But the marketing bubbling created some revenue on this product concept. Claims and quality are to be discussed (publlications are submitted). Is that called a success?
