Regardless of all the internal issues, HR being inept, sales low, and people being completely unhappy the magic of accounting makes all look really good for Wall St. The place is so unorganized its a matter of time before the Franklin Lakes castle starts to tumble. They are wonderful to the outside world, unfortunately what goes on behind the moat, is truly a sight to see compared to other corps.

They're not meeting numbers because the newbies have no clue about the diagnostic business. They hire youngsters with no previous diagnostic experience who think they know it all after 2 months. Apparently insiders are saying that anyone over 45 yrs old, esp if you are a female are targets for dismissal to make room for these "brilliant" IVY leaguers. (who by the way, leave as soon as they see the dysfunction in the place.)

With BD you are either a yesman and brown noser or you're shunned. There is no room for contrary opinions or not being in agreement with everything HR and the so-called leaders says. From what I have seen only the goody-two shoes get promoted not the high performers.

Bunch of arrogant leaders. The hardworking ones who actually know the business are a real threat to those who just joined and know nothing about the medical diagnostic lab industry. They will be the first ones to be let go, because they're a threat to the egos of the clueless. Then there are those who have never worked anywhere else before and are clueless on how "real" companies operate.

Ouch I have friends who work at BD, they are hard working to it would be a shame to see any of them laid off.
