Does anyone know how to make an quality antibody?

I'm a totally layman on how to make biochemical assays/reagents. But I'm quite curious about the preparation and process and progress...We know the biotechnology field is in rapid developing and in many ways it will closely connect to us, for example, it would be awesome if we could detect our own genes thus we can know them and do some precautions to avoid some risks...
Can anyone is expert of this field tell me? Or join in the topic and even expand the topic...

Thanks for the article. This is some good research about one of the best quality antibodies on the market:

Caspase 3 antibody: Caspases are a family of inactive proenzymes to facilitate a vital role in cell apoptosis (the scheduled death of cells). The function of Caspase 3 in apoptosis is to cleave and activate Caspases 6, 7 and 9 in order to break down the apoptotic cells before removal. After this process, the Caspase 3 protein is broken down by itself to Caspase 8, 9 and 10. The chronological cleaving and foundation of these proteins is essential to the execution stage of pre-programmed cellular death.

The function of Caspase 3 in apoptosis is to stimulate the stages of cellular death in a non-traumatic method. In disparity to necrosis, which is the traumatic destruction of cells, apoptosis is the process by which cells are broken down and destroyed. This is done in a controlled method to allow a range of developments in an organism. The controlled cellular death allows the digits to separate without trauma. Caspase 3 is imperative to this process since it allows the process to progress in sequence, with no surprise events that would otherwise cause unnecessary damage to the lasting cells. The role of Caspase 3 antibody in apoptosis has the potential to steer scientists towards a better understanding of illnesses such as Alzheimer’s disease.

Wrong. Before you can make ethyl palpitate, you have to know how to find all of ethyl's 'special' areas. These determine the requirements for making her palpitate.

It's pretty much the same with making good antibodies, when you come to think of it.

I admmire your spelling as much as the ingenuity behind your tough line of questioning.

As in most cases, there just are no easy answers (spelled EZ).

It's a long road to the Truth, but I believe you will find it.

Hey, dynah, I don't how to make a quality antibody either, but I do know some trustworthy resource, see www.creativebiomart.net, you will find your answer and maybe help those people who are looking for quality biological reagents too...Good luck.

Yeah, it's hard to understand for most of the people, as Google at first was thought to be "absurd"...This is just a friendly help asking, if someone don't like, no one ask you or invite you come to answer...

I also have some excellent recipes for bunny stew, bunny steak, and bunny ribs for those that don't produce well.

If you are going monoclonal, you will have to come up with your own mouse recipes. I only have one of those that requires an entire mouse, well ground up: I like to call it mouse mousse.
