I would like to know if management still wears pointy shoes because only the inept ones who have driven the company into a ditch would wear them.
If their new owners removed those the replacements wouldn't be wearing them.

Yes, but that is because there are things growing on damp bread that have more of an intellectual capacity than you. The rest of us would simply love some details of how bad things are at Operon/MWG should they be plummeting ever downwards as suggested. Management shoes and the pointiness or otherwise thereof is not something anyone with two neurons to rub together probably really cares about.

It's not just the phone bill they don't pay. They don't pay any of their vendors on time. Typically, for the smaller vendors it's over 90 days and not infrequently longer. Looks like they're try to hide their cash flow problems from the parent, Eurofins.

They probably forgot to pay the phone bill again.

The controller was laid off. HR will be taken by IA this week. MK just keeps traveling everywhere. He laid off Senior Web Developer but hired Indian developers. That's why you can hear complaints about software everywhere in the office. EMO's IT management is the worst management in the world. Sooner or later EMO will crash because of MK.

I know for a fact that they did lay off their Senior Web Developer ... so I.T.'s not immune either.

Why is MK not going for paycuts for management and IT(his baby)? It is ironic that this is the only group that is getting bonuses. Eurofins should really look at replacing MK not rewarding him.

Operon has always said that IT will save the day. The next update will fix the problems...the next accounting software will show where the waste is...its all BS. IT doesn't work on the production line. They don't have a clue what the customers want or need that actually make it convenient to buy from them. They keep churning out crap.

Just an aweful situation.

It is sad that they get rid of too many people making less than 30k, but hold onto all these useless IT guys. Contrary to what MK may say, IT projects will not make EMO survive. My opinion of what is needed : Get rid of MK, move the IT to germany, hire better/more knowledgeble people in Sales, Tech support and production.
