Two simple facts about Obamacare.

1. It is here to stay for the foreseeable future. In order to repeal it, it will take Republicans winning the White House, maintaining control of the House, AND obtaining a minimum of 60 seats in the Senate. That is not likely to happen soon.

2. By the time that repeal becomes a political reality, Obamacare will have been in full force for several years. Remember it won't come into full effect until next year. After that, one of two things will happen. Either the predictions that it will be terrible will come true and pressure will come from the public to either repeal it or fix the parts that are broke OR they will come to love it in which case repeal will be as impossible as repealing social security or medicare is today.

It matters no whether you like Obamacare or hate it or are indifferent, the above is fairly certain. A whatever is said about it here is of vitually no consequence.

Sorry, but the budget process begins in the House. A President can only recommend a budget. He has no legislative authority or function. So this whole thing about the Obama budget is just another fantasy being promoted by the right wing talking heads and just one more thing you regurgitate here.

Reality is that Republicans in the House have failed to produce a budget that has a snowballs chance to be passed and signed. Merely passing a bill that is going nowhere is purely meaningless and is done solely for the purpose of propaganda and playing to a minority base. The latest version of the Ryan budget assumes the repeal of Obamacare which simply is not going to happen. Republicans tried 33 times to repeal Obamacare in the last Congress in a futile exhibition of how to waste taxpayer time and money. These so-called budgets are the equivalent of passing a law that declares that the sky is green and trees are blue. It simply won't change reality.

The real message the American people are trying to send to Congress is to stop wasting time on nonsense and to put away the fantasy and start to work on something that can become law by accepting the notion that the minority that loses elections repeatedly cannot and will never control things until they gain support of the people which they simply don't have now. Take a look at just about any poll about just about any issue and you will see that the majority of Americans do not support the Republican positions. This is true when it comes to tax policy, social security and medicare (no, we don't want your voucher system and privitization), gun control, womens rights, gay rights, immigration issues, and the neo-con foreign policy. Yet Republicans refuse to acknowledge this and continue to pound away in Congress with purely symbolic acts of defiance and obstruction.

So why don't you stop being a shill for the right wing talking heads since it is clear that none of what you post are your own ideas and you have shown no ability to defend your posts when challenged. You just change topics in line with the talking points of the day. You will simply have to learn that there are people out there that will not buy your lies and will not accept your attempts to re-write history. Some people actually read and learn independently and, more than anything, this is what is killing the Republican Party which is looked upon favorably by only roughtly 1 in 5 Americans. Sure, the Democrats are not everyone's ideal, but they win hands down when compared to your party.
