Ain't Lonza always in some kind of permanent global conundrum? I was on an interview there about 7 years ago, and the guy who wanted me in was kicked out in 2 weeks.

Going to Lonza Walkersville, boy are they in for a big surprise. Overall Lonza is a great company but with the recent global reorg and some recent unsavory hires in management it is a tough place to work.

The "fraudster" at least left something that was transferred to Germany and China. JG and ES both left nothing, and I bet not even a janitor would notice when they kick you out.

Certainly agree with all you say BUT I believe the senior rickety folks in one particular Dept may survive the move to GTN pretty much intact. As for the other folks in all the other Depts there in GTB that happen to be left behind as the move takes place, Bon Voyage and do not let door hit ya/split ya! I believe for those with tenure in QA, the gals and guys in internal quality with over ten year service, their HEADS may be spared to "loaf" another day there in GTN. At least for the time being! Stay tuned though and for those left behind there in GTB, the time has come to get off this melting iceberg soon before you slip off and under...

LOL yes the continued reduction in staff. Few if any GTB people will be moved over to GTN. Just critical equipment and the handful of people they deem worthy. Don't think that you are immune just because you think your department is important, most likely it isn't.

Yes, still others in R&D and support groups that have been camping here taking up space for years and years MUST go too. No doubt all of these reductions in anticipation of impending GTB closure and GTN downsize..

IDK, but when I saw that I. N. and others from the old R&D group there got axed I jumped for joy. Her and Lorr E K where terrible fraudsters.

What more layoffs at GTB? Or were these just your garden variety firings?? Could be disciplinary actions with all the tardiness,loafing and slacking that goes on over there. I have witnessed this low level of employee performance at both GTB and GTN.
