PC’s traits
Bully, belittling others, Nasty, boasting about his “Liverpool” childhood – no one can beat him at any trick! Suspicious, no one should take any credit for anything, egomaniac, loves his “reputation”, thinks he is the greatest communicator – we all know now that he violent even with the most vulnerable people – women, megalomaniac , revengeful – he gets pleasure when he puts someone down, short fused, not a listener, super jealous, revenge is his life.
PC’s biggest problems
Loneliest and most unsecured mixed with substance and alcohol abuse, so his biggest problem is he can never have normal relationship with anyone – personal or professional – male or female.
He fancies a couple of female and he works on their judgements – you know where that is heading too. Those ladies are smart – they stroke his ego and he feels he is the greatest

PC’s experience:
PC has never worked outside RD so he is like a frog in a well. PC has absolutely no clue about what’s going on outside. If anyone tries to tell him, he is nasty. PC never likes to boast in a big crowd outside because he is smart enough to know that his equivalent outside might have moved around and knows more than he knows about strategies etc. He is always subdued outside. As soon as he walks in RDA premises, he is a king of a little kingdom.
PC’s judgement about promotions and people
PC calls HR as “Humble Resources” they are in his pocket – he boasts. They will do anything what he says because none of them is employable outside RD. He boasts that after being on the 3rd page of a news paper for beating the hell out of his ex and CONFESSING in court, he is still in charge of RDA and HR couldn’t a do thing. He calls HR - local, regional, global – as a bunch of impotents – they can’t do anything to him! He is right there
PC always joked and taunted about “BM boys” they can’t run the place, they don’t know how to manage, and they don’t know financials and guess what? He is surrounded by the same BM boys! He has always helped the competitors by providing some of those BM boys and girls. These BM boys are not employable outside RDA because they are mediocre so PC will be happy all his life – they won’t leave.
PC promoted only one guy AD as international IT manager but AD couldn’t cut it at all because he was not only lazy but incapable. AD left.
PC promoted JK who is a female version of him as Sales manager – giving her all ammunition to get stuck into sales people and she did alright. All good sales people left and she also left. JK used to call him “positively crap”, AD - After devil, Before cxxx, monkey face, never gets his cloths dried clean or washes, PC has no table manners, eating habits are embarrassing, and no etiquette and many more
JW could nothing wrong as per PC. In fact, history shows that anything he touched was bound to fail and he was known for his catastrophic failures for 20 years in RD land. He touched Clarify and stuffed it big time but managed to survive – others were sacked. Only in the second phase when he wasn’t part of the project that Clarify worked. So JW gets rewards – he was promoted to Operations Manager job and one project he undertook was to change the freight companies – he as was supposed to have saved $1M but instead, RDA ended losing $1M. If this wasn’t enough, JW still manages to come and do “consulting” work. He must know some secrets about PC!
PC always wanted to get rid of RP and RP was just as smart as PC. He hung around and called PC a bluff and now enjoying himself with all lurks and perks at others expense. RP is still there and having a last laugh PC at your expense. PC used to go and check RP’s cupboards after hours – all illegal things but RP has a last laugh PC!
PD and PC never got on from day one – it was funny combination. PD – an ex BM boy and PC through and through RD boy. PC is never used to any competition from inside and PD was openly challenging his judgements. PD was a BM boy and PC Roche boy – little kids used to fight for everything. PD got Mayne national contract which PC could never get but as happens with PC, PD never got any credit. When PD got better jobs outside (PC never pays well to senior managers except of course himself), PC has a habit of telling – particularly new and young naïve – I was going to sack him anyway. Now that PD has got this MD position, PC keeps telling everyone that he is not going to last – he doesn’t know what management is all about. PD’s life was made miserable when FW offered PD a Global role for marketing in the US. PD got part of his lousy bonus when he left.
After PD left, PC employed TE – poor TE got his first taste within a week when PC lost a big molecular deal that he was dealing for months and blamed TE. TE was devastated and couldn’t believe he was being blamed for a deal that he didn’t even know was going on. He was never involved in one meeting. He left too. TE got part of his lousy bonus and blame game continues after many years
GM did wonderful job of getting huge installed base for Sysmex in Australia but PC made his life hell because PC along with PD thought that he was lazy and didn’t put in hard yakka. When GM was recruited by Sysmex, PC did everything possible to stop that but poor PC – you can’t always be successful in your revenge. GM is doing wonderfully well in Sysmex Singapore and he is recognised well unlike PC who never recognises anyone for anything. GM when left got part of his lousy bonus
MD was instrumental in bringing service to glory which JW could never do. He fixed Sysmex by recruiting engineer from overseas, undertook comprehensive training of engineers, promoted some, created strategies to manage engineers. He was recognised by FW and wanted him to take over APAC role but PC couldn’t bear that. So he goes with his usual practice of making poor MD’s life miserable and MD left. He was so revengeful that he used his HR stooges to walk him out of premises at 10 am and obviously bonus wasn’t paid fully although MD completed which JW couldn’t, successfully implementation of Phase II of SAP / Clarify and many more.
ML was recognised by nationally and internationally for her dedication and commitment by both customers and internally. So she was recruited by Sysmex. When she went across, RD corporate wasn’t happy. PC used his little stooge AH to give her hard time – remember she was working for Sysmex and NOT RDA. Again ML was given part of that lousy bonus.
LA was excellent Warehouse Supervisor - always smiling who did everything right except he inadvertently pissed PC which he didn’t know. PC managed to give him two warning letters through his stooge JW. LA left and doing very well. Again he was given part of his lousy bonus.
PC never liked FW because FW was strong and he used put back PC in his place. So PC always criticised him for opening and closing address at APAC meetings. FW used to prepare and give intelligent & realistic talk and he was excellent - real management stuff. PC does his opening and closing addresses at cycle meetings without any preparation – patronising employees , cries and boasts about his personal achievements – real boring stuff and goes on for hours without realising that people are bored to death. He can’t help himself – all achievements are his. If he cries in public, be ready for some cuts in your compensation. That’s how it works. He gets emotional – crocodile tears. (He boasted that he did that in court and gotten away without any criminal conviction for beating his ex). All who’s who at RD Global trust that Kiwi guy for his experience but NEVER PC and PC can never take it but he can’t do anything.
PC’s biggest customer still hasn’t forgiven RD Management for not sacking PC for his beating episode and still doesn’t want to see PC but PC keeps boasting how good he has relationship with this man.
PC sacked ZV for losing his licence and then after few weeks he lost his licence going to Canberra. Nothing happened. Well losing licence is a small thing but beating ex and still running RDA – now that is his achievement
PC has 3 musketeers’ – PF, BW in Qld and KS in Sydney. There are funny characters – they will come and tell you how bad PC is and then tell him everything your discussions. Be careful. PC always accused of PF as a little man’s syndrome – no capability but unlimited ambitious and BW to stealing taxi vouchers and using them when BW lost his licence.

When he was in Canada, he had a reputation and in fact, all complained about his behaviour – he was forced to leave Canada.

DJ's CEO got sack because of

DJ's CEO got sack because of inappropriate behaviour and the company possibly fighting a $37M lawsuit- you are talking about making passes but PC- thanks to HR - a number of men and women officially made complaints - nothing happened - that smug is still there. as if this wasn't enough, he beat his ex. There is limit to how much any reputed company worth its salt would tolerate. Obviously RD Global company seems to have different attitude - they dont seem to understand "no means no" Australian policy - violence against women. PC is laughing all the way, smug as ever and why not? anyone in PC's shoes would feel the same. Thanks to incompetent management who couldn't manage to get this little piece of s*** out the door.

After 2 years of selfless

After 2 years of selfless service, a man realized that he has not been
promoted, no transfer, no salary increase no commendation and that the
Company is not doing any thing about it. So he decided to walk up to
His HR Manager one morning and after exchanging greetings, he told his
HR Manager his observation. The boss looked at him, laughed and asked
him to sit down saying. My friend, you have not worked here for even
one day.

The man was surprised to hear this, but the manager went on to explain.

Manager:- How many days are there in a year?

Man:- 365 days and some times 366

Manager:- how many hours make up a day?

Man:- 24 hours

Manager:- How long do you work in a day?

Man:- 8am to 4pm. i.e. 8 hours a day.

Manager:- So, what fraction of the day do you work in hours?

Man:- (He did some arithmetic and said 8/24 hours i.e. 1/3(one third)

Manager:- That is nice of you! What is one-third of 366 days?

Man:- 122 (1/3x366 = 122 in days)

Manager:- Do you come to work on weekends?

Man:- No sir

Manager:- How many days are there in a year that are weekends?

Man:- 52 Saturdays and 52 Sundays equals to 104 days

Manager:- Thanks for that. If you remove 104 days from 122 days, how
many days do you now have?

Man:- 18 days.

Manager:- OK! I do give you 2 weeks sick leave every year. Now remove
that14 days from the 18 days left. How many days do you have
remaining?

Man:- 4 days

Manager:- Do you work on New Year day?

Man:- No sir!

Manager:- Do you come to work on workers day?

Man:- No sir!

Manager:- So how many days are left?

Man:- 2 days sir!

Manager:- Do you come to work on the (National holiday )?

Man:- No sir!

Manager:- So how many days are left?

Man:- 1 day sir!

Manager:- Do you work on Christmas day?

Man:- No sir!

Manager:- So how many days are left?

Man:- None sir!

Manager:- So, what are you claiming?

Man:- I have understood, Sir. I did not realise that I was stealing
Company money all these days.

Moral - NEVER GO TO HR FOR HELP!!!

Actually most of the installed base was achieved by Chiron Diagnostics. GM inherited all the good work they had done when Bayer bought Chiron and the Sysmex haem business went to Roche.
