Another engineer goes through the revolving door...
If you are not happy, try Abbott, they are still looking for Engs in Sydney. You can go there and be unhappy too!
Product champion....after 1 year in the job. The Pin Head is scraping the bottom of the barrel.
Soon to be the perfect company with Virtual Customers and no engineers !
Must be like Virtual Teamwork, Virtual Management.....Ect,Ect
Virtual parts, computer says they exist, therefore they do.
Parts.....You have parts???
Ah yes... you refer to the highly honed, multi skilled cross trained, cross dressing, usually cross eyed beast that is the Siemens FSE.
We take an experienced expert engineer, empty out half the stuff he has learnt over years and fill it with a 5% chunk of knowledge of each of 10 other products.
This saves a lot of money as the engineer is bound to always be right next to something that needs fixing (if only he could recognise it!), best of all it will take 3 visits instead of 1 and a bucket of expensive parts chucked at it to sort it - for which we can bill the lovely customers... ker-ching! Thank you.
Sure sends those customers scuttling for an all-inclusive!
OF course the most important asset to Siemens is its people, for without them we are nothing. We have total confidence they are not stressed at all by being bundled out the door half trained, one fiftieth experienced, one tenth equipped. They will soon learn after 15 hours on each fix. All those people leaving were just selfish, being concerned just about their families tut-tut, think of the company first!
Siemens Engineer: Where is the XXXX?
Customer : you are leaning on it, remind me, why do I pay a service contract?
Think Customer! (copyright Siemens 2010)
If you are reading this we will find out.We told you not to!If you all want to leave we don't need you....
From Management 101.
2010 - 25% of Melbourne staff have left.....
2011 - 50% want to leave....
Happy New Year! May you all get new Jobs!
MW.....MBA....any idea what is going on in Vic???
Most them need sat nav to remember where they live. A couple of Siemens 'widows' assumed their husbands were serving time in jail.
HaHa no one has home internet????Sorry forgot the Work:Life balance of Siemens employees....
Apparently Siemens IT put a block on access to the Roche recruitment site.
Must be a good week, no one has left...
Far to complex for them!
Are Siemens managing the cricket team as well?
Confirmed, another one out the door ....Toughen up boys!
and the circus rolls on...........
Now we know management is a Joke...
KB has been promoted to head of APAC for diagnostics and some divisions of imaging!!!!!!!
he needs to get rid of KB before MW...
No its the new head of ANZ service and support RT coming down not KB
He is firing the guy HE employed? That's not a look good....
MW might be getting walked out of the building this week as the head of service comes down to sort him out...............weird how the problem is mainly Victoria based mmmmmmmmmmm maybe its the MANAGER?
I wonder if its like the UK? Abbott is the place you go when your desperate and no one else will have you, when your socially dysfunctional.
Roche used to be the place to go although the pay/benefits were not top end of the market. Now even their management, who used to be sensible and organised are trying to screw them up with crackpot self justifying meddling.
As mentioned before, with all the mergers soon there will be no choice left who to work for, one things for sure, always leave a DX on good terms, you might be back before you expect it!
Abbott and Roche are looking for Eng's, so there are other options if you are not happy at Siemens....
If the pay is good then it must be somthing else.....
Work- life balance?
Take your pick.....
TRY ALL OF THE ABOVE!!!
Why are they all leaving .....is it really that bad to work there?? I hear the pay is really good?
Every one is Happy!, Every one is Happy!, Every one is Happy!......why are you all leaving?
Glad I escaped.....not too many good ones left in Victoria now. This management is reaping what it has sewn....karma except I feel sorry for the good few thats left
we have a great team, we have a great team, we have a great team, dam I was sure they were all just behind me.....where did they go????
Please complete the following propoganda, best answer wins a prize:-
Everything is going very well we are still the #1...........
I'll just check my spreadsheeeet...
Correct on all counts this is gonna really hurt the Victorian business is there no end to this madness?
So that's the last DB engineer...
At least 30 years exp has been allowed to walk out the door, not forgetting all the DPC experience - I guess Bayer engineers are Better....Oh but dont they leave too??
A management problem by any chance??
no GC,RC and PY so far
another one bites the dust.............must really be good to work for now
2 of the 3 have walked already RC and PY a few more to come before xmas...........
Initials of them?
Speaking of Ian P. - what an empty bubble !
Sadly I had met him. It was about as memorable as eating a piece of plain unbuttered cold toast.
He was the rent-a-boss sent in while the merger mess tried to sort itself out (which it didn't) He made some crap decisions, cooked the books to make his reign look good, pledged his undying allegiance then legged it to the first non-Siemens big paycheck job that came along.
No wonder Ade struggled, lousy Louise just left behind chaos and crumbs for him. god knows what the current (passing?) Gen. Manager is picking up, my heart does go out to him, the people above are a waste of a valuable Siemens Email address, he is going to have to put up with the likes of Ian P. (if you can work out what he does in among all his 'corporate speak' answer by email to 'Tell Michael' - link is on your intranet page.
