I have been wondering for many years.... Why does some poop float and others sink? Is this genetic?
There is not a genetic cause for floating poop! Cholesterol is not the cause for floating poop! The reason some poop floats is because there is excess gas trapped within the poop which makes it less dense than water.

But in his case, brain leakage.
Actually, it has nothing to do with water content. It is due to gas content which is less dense than water.
Water content, but in your case, brain leakage.
